After a nice and relax vacation, does anyone have a feeling of reluctant to go back to work? Well, I do.
This was actually taken some time 6 months ago after my short trip to a private island. Then, I actually dropped by in Ipoh for a night to visit relative. We had breakfast in one of the busier coffee shop in that residential area. If am not mistaken, this coffee shop named Kedai Makanan & Minuman Taman Timur (its a corner shop). They have lots of stalls in the shop, selling Hakka noodles, nasi lemak, western breakfast, Penang Hokkien mee, wanton mee, and so on.
What we had for breakfast for that morning compared to what we had in the private island is nothing to shout about. Certainly the taste of coffee shop is relatively better than what we had in the private island. I had a simple dry noodle and some Yong Tau Foo for breakfast. I am not really a Yong Tau Foo fan, but, compared to Penang, I guess down here is much better.
Hubby just missed his Wanton Mee for many days, and here it is his Wanton Mee & Wanton. As for the Wanton Mee, hubby still finds Penang Wanton Mee is better than Ipoh.
As for my relative, they both took nasi lemak. Look at the sotong, and the anchovies.
Oh ya, one of the drink that you shouldn't miss, is their soya bean drink. It's good, very favorable, and it’s home made too.

Hi WMW, 2 weeks still recuperating?? Hmmm..... it's about time la!!
They have expanded from one corner shoplot to two now. The laksa, sold in noon time is pretty good.
the owner of the restaurant unfortunately passed away last month due to heart attack.
