Had lunch in Yakiteppan today with my ex-colleague whom just retired recently. We were supposed to go for a birthday lunch today, unfortunately the birthday girl wasn’t feeling well. So, ended up only 3 of us meeting up for ‘makan’.
We had a brief and quick one in Yakiteppan today, not that very much we wanted to dine there, it’s all because of the Hakka Noodle didn’t open for business today. Thus, we have no other alternative, might as well give it a try in Yakiteppan.
In fact, 3 of us have not been going to Yakiteppan for quite some time. Reason didn’t really want to go there, is because there are many FTZ people dine in. And, you will bounce into friends in that area. Another reason, you didn’t want to have extra ‘perfume’ after meal.
Oh ya, why with all the extra ‘perfume’. Cuz, this is a teppanyaki eatery outlet, thus, they named themselves Yakiteppan. J
Honestly they have many varieties now and I noted that many are cook in teriyaki sauce. Only one or two items are grill, and few items of sushi, and sashimi.
This is the only eatery outlet that I notice, using a silver chopstick and a plastic spoon. Thought Japanese culture do not have spoon for meal?We had a brief and quick one in Yakiteppan today, not that very much we wanted to dine there, it’s all because of the Hakka Noodle didn’t open for business today. Look at the plates… before I remember to take pictures of the salads, and appetizers, here it is now.
Here are the main dishes that we have…
Teppanyaki Fish
Teppanyaki Fish & Chicken
Teppanyaki Sabah Fish, Prawns & Chicken
Err…. How will I review this? If you’re looking for affordable teppanyaki or Japanese food; this isn’t that bad to have. Of course, I noted all dishes are a bit salty.
So, enjoy!
