Miraku, G Hotel

When I started to write this post, it reminds me of my pregnancy period. Cuz, this is one of the place that I visited when I was pregnant. Every time after check up hubby will take me a for walk or even a simple lunch before I go home. And, all these while I have the tendency for not having any strong aroma food, for example garlic, Chinese celery, spring onions, shallots, onions and so on.

I have been wanted to try this Miraku in G Hotel. First is because many times company organized dinner at this place, second is because apart from Japanese food, basically I have nothing to eat. Oh yes, people said pregnant woman has their own taste bud, and some could take fish and some couldn’t kind of story. To my surprise, I could take Unagi. What put me a stop is basically those with aromatic smell like garlic, onions, shallots, etc.

Anyway, I ordered a Unagi Set for myself, and hubby ordered a Chicken Set. In fact, there is nothing different as both came with salads, cawanmushi, dessert, vegetables and appetizer.

Do you realize, the vegetables that they served do come with a fish ball? I was wondering at that time, but didn’t bother to ask, cuz, at that time, mommy was hungry like hell.

How much does it cost?
Hi CK, I actually didn't try the dessert, as that time was pregnant. And was told pregnant woman should not have those 'agar-agar' for dessert. So, I gave it a miss.

Hi Ling239, thk u for your word of comfort, I appreciate that a lot.

Hi Joe, thks for welcoming me back to blogosphere. Perhaps this is the right chance to try new food...

Hi j2kfm, the last piece was the appetizer.

Hi Durianberry, errr.... not really. The price was reasonable.

Hi Tim, welcome to Penang!!!

Hi Little Inbox, can't really recall... the price is reasonable. If you like Jap food, should give it a try.

Do order their salad on your next round. I forgot which type of salad, but i do remember it's the most expensive type among the other salad... It's very very very nice... with nice fresh crab sticks
